NCDC Reacts After Comedian “Sydney Talker” Lied About Having Coronavirus NEWS   The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, has cleared the air on a man who claimed he is showing symptoms of the novel coronavirus. This comes after popular comedian, Sydney Talker shared a video in which he blasted the agency for not picking their calls and he claimed a friend of his also called and they told him he wasn’t having enough symptoms to get tested. The agency took to their official Twitter page to address the issue with the words; NCDC @NCDCgov We received several messages & calls, over an Instagram video. The individual was said to be very sick & reported that NCDC did not respond. We have reached out to him and he said what he did was a SKIT. He is well Pls respect the call and message lines. Do not spread panic

Coronavirus: I met with two persons who tested positive – Fayemi Published   March 25, 2020       Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State has asked all his 35 colleagues to go into self-isolation immediately. Fayemi, who is the Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum, said he had undergone the coronavirus test having been exposed to two persons who had tested positive for COVID-19. READ ALSO: Coronavirus: NDDC to provide ventilators, oxygen The PUNCH  reports that Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed; and the President’s Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari, tested positive for coronavirus on Tuesday and have been quarantined. This is according to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC). According to NCDC, “both cases are returning travellers to Nigeria in the last seven days. “As at 07:00am 25th March, there are 46 confirmed cases of #COVID19 in Nigeria. Two have been discharged with one death.”
